Based in the North East, I've over eight years’ experience working in the independent event medical industry, alongside five years full-time concurrent experience working on emergency ambulance operations on behalf of two NHS trusts. I understand the challenges involved in unexpected contract and staffing changes, and the need for last minute medical cover. My role here is a sub-contractor, to aid in filling staffing gaps, preventing impact on your contracts, service delivery and subsequently, public safety. Alongside my role as a healthcare practitioner, I'll be completing the SIA door supervisor license in early November 2026, allowing for safety provision for events, including those with on-site alcohol consumption.
I graduated from university in 2024 with a First Class Honours in Paramedic Science and Out of Hospital Care, alongside gaining extracurricular qualifications such as Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Resuscitation Council UK Advanced Life Support (RCUK e-ALS) and a Level 7 UPGCE in Advanced Physical Assessment and Disease Managaement.
Over recent years, I've worked full-time for a CQC-Registered independent ambulance organisation, for five years as an Emergency Care Assistant and Event Medical Technician, and more recently as a paramedic, ambulance operations and clinical services team leader and practice co-ordinator. In additional to my full-time role, I'm the regional ambassador for the Royal College of Paramedics, alongside working as an event paramedic across the United Kingdom, including events such as obstacle courses, UEFA Women's Euros, televised Olympics and Paralympics, and live music events. Furthermore, I have experience with night-time economy, industrial medical cover for high-risk remote construction sites and arena stage builds. I maintain an extensive, continuously updated CPD portfolio which can be supplied on enquiry.
